Question regarding in-putting notes via midi-keyboard in realtime

Hello -

I’m another (long-time) Finale user who is in the process of switching over to Dorico. Overall, so far, so good. At least for me, I don’t think that it’ll be such a huge learning curve in getting to know this “new” notation program. A couple of questions though. . .

In Finale, one can quantize the notes that are being in-putted via the midi-keyboard in realtime. In other words, when the notes being in-putted for a passage is no shorter than an eighth-note, I can configure Finale to input nothing shorter than those notes. This makes things easier, at least for me. I don’t have to adjust unwanted triplets, sixteenth notes, etc., etc. If possible, how can I configure Dorico to function in a similar (if not exact) manner?? Also, I don’t necessarily want accents automatically put in when I in-put the notes. How do I disable this function if possible??

Thank you. . .

Quantize settings are in Preferences>Play>Quantization. These apply to MIDI recording.
The quantization of any selection can be changed using Edit>Re-quantize…

Got it! Thank you! (I needed to scroll down further to find Quantization. My bad!)
