Does using midi modifiers or midi inserts create latency between recorded midi notes and the outboard instrument? If so, is the ASIO buffer used to compensate for this latency? I hope it isn’t too silly a question, I know it’s midi and not audio but the midi is being processed by software then sent back out.
I doubt the processing overhead is at all noticeable.
