Quick Controls aren’t responding

Hi everyone, I’ve been experiencing a lot of MIDI issues with Cubase 15 Pro. Quick Controls aren’t responding and can’t be mapped properly. There are a lot of bugs. Also, the mouse pointer doesn’t work properly as a MIDI setting. Have you encountered the same issues?

Hi,

it’s difficult to say without further information.
What kind of MIDI controller are we talking about?
What kind of script, integration in Cubase?
OS?
Examples, what is happening?

Maybe it’s not a bug?

Hi,

As mentioned, please provide more information.

Could you please be more specific? Maybe screenshots or screen video recording could help.

Describe them, please.

What do you mean, please?

Mac OS Sequoia, I downgraded because it was loading the Spectral Layer Base and not the Pro, I have a Mac Studio M2 Max with Arturia Keylab Essential that worked perfectly with the Mac Mini Intel i7 chip 64 GB RAM and it’s difficult to describe the anomalies, it would be useful to be able to load video recordings. In any case, a friend of mine who uses Silicon chips also has the same MIDI assignment problems and the mouse pointer doesn’t work as it should.

I am sorry, Macs are not my strong suit and it seems to be OS related. Hopefully, someone else chimes in.
Good luck!

Hi,

I’m on Mac. It would be great to get more details from you.

You can make video screen recording, place it to Dropbox, YouTube or other service and share the link here.

I will do

Yeah, I’ve always mapped the Quick Controls by opening them in the track inspector, clicking the Learn button, clicking a QC slot and then moving a control on the currently open plugin. Now when I do this I can set the first QC but when I click on the next QC it immediately change the first QC that i set to whatever the second QC is currently set for. It’s like an impossible game of wack-a-mole. I’m on Windows using a Steinberg CC121 controller. Never had any problems with QC before this release.

I use a Mac M2 Max and I have the same problem
