Quick Controls, Track Quick Controls, Remote Control?

What is the Difference Between: Quick Controls, Track Quick Controls and Remote Control editor ?

(vst) quick controls should be called VSTI controls because as far as I can tell they only control INSTRUMENTS
TRACK controls work on track inserts eg vst plugins
whilst remote control editor seems to be only useful for very expensive control surfaces that nobody uses/can afford
just my opinion bigmalh yours may differ
