You can have a dashed pedal line with the star sign at the end if you change the Continuation type property of the pedal line to Sign at End and Dashed Line or if you change that globally in engraving options Sustain pedal appearance for continuation of line. If you really want a solid line you can change the Dash gap length property of the pedal line to 0. (Note this property is only available in Engrave Mode)
