does anyone know what it means when Cubase 8 says ‘cannot initialise quicktime’? I have installed it and it works ok, but Cubase doesn’t seem to recognise it. any help greatly appreciated as I am a newbie at this!!

replying to my own post, but I found this answer in another post and it worked! After trying every different option there was, actually NOT using quicktime but this alternative which doesn’t have all the bothersome additions such as trying to only work with iTunes.
