Quickly changing the duration of last inputted note

Hi,

Sorry if this is a trivial question, but I couldn’t find an easy answer. In note input mode, is there a shortcut for changing the duration of the last inputted note without leaving input mode (I know that I can hit ESC, change the duration, then click Enter again).

You can lengthen or shorten the duration of the last inputted note, according to the value of the grid (on the bottom left) using alt-shift-arrows. It is extremely useful, especially when you need to input some halves tied to an 1/8th note :wink:

Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for. Quality of life improved.

Once you get used to using the grid - for lengthening/shortening note values, as well as moving things, it becomes nearly addictive. It’s a great function.
