I’d like to see the Rack Mediabay obey the options set in Mediabay window, especially the Use Current Selection as Base Location. Alternatively, Rack Mediabay could have similar options available in itself.
In my work, I use a separate folder containing tons of SFX in several subfolders and set that as a Base location to make SFX searches optimal, without VST instrument and other stuff getting mixed in searches. Sometimes I also need to search for Halion VST sounds and then I get back to using VST Sounds as Base location. In Rack Mediabay I cannot currently select SFX collections as Base and this makes the Rack Mediabay virtually unusable.
