Rallentando al fine

I entered text such as rallentando al fine. molto rit. etc. It does not affect the tempo. I want it to be applied to the tempo.

You need to enter this using the Tempo popover. After that you can change the text to whatever you like via the Properties panel:

Thank you. ^^ I want to change it to Italic. And can I change Bold to Regular?

No, you can’t.

It might be best to enter the actual tempo using the Tempo popover, hide it, and then enter your tempo text using System Text so that you can format it etc.

You can’t change the font style for an individual tempo mark, but you can change the styles for all tempo marks by changing the Immediate Tempo Text and Gradual Tempo Text font styles.

(Allegro is an example of an immediate tempo change; rit. is an example of a gradual tempo change.)

I looked for this method but couldn’t find it. Could you please tell me the path?

I don’t know how to hide the tempo.

  • Select the tempo mark and open the Properties panel.

  • In the Text field, delete the existing text and press Return.

  • Because the tempo marking has no characters, it is effectively hidden, and a Signpost will appear so that you know the tempo is there.

Can you notate it like the second score?

Italics are possible in text popovers, but italics do not seem to be possible in tempo popovers.

You can make the Immediate Tempo Text Font whatever you like but then all immediate tempo markings will be the same.

You can’t change the formatting of tempo marks individually.

Okay, thank you. ^^

I’m glad you found the solution. Kind of OT, but rallentandeo is not a thing in italian

I’m talking about italic, not Italian. Italic font.

And he’s talking about the typo in your Italian text.
