"random" restarts while using cubase

Hello there,

I’m having an issue for the last 6 months: Whenever I work on a project in cubase 10, my PC suddenly just restarts. No errors and no bsod, it just blanks into reboot. No dmp file or anything.
I’ve tried some cpu stress testing, no problems there.
I’m kind of lost…

Tried updating all drivers, Updated Bios, disabled indexing services, increased fan speed. Nothing helps.
And it’s only happens while using cubase. Also, lately updated Cubase, no effect.

Any ideas what might be the problem ?

Hi,

No idea. But these hard-crashes are more on hardware/driver side nowadays. I cannot imagine a software could force computer to crash.

I think so too, but I don’t know where/how to start debugging it…

I would recommend to unplug all unnecessary hardware.
