Range selection in in-line MIDI editor

Hello, currently testing Cubase 13 (I have Cubase 12). there was a lot of noise about the range selection for MIDI - but it seems that there is no range selection in the inline midi editor - where it would be even more useful due to limited space. Am I missing something?
It says piano role and drum editor - but inline editor is the piano role editor …

Hi,

There is no Piano Roll editor in Cubase. We have:

  • Key Editor
  • Score Editor
  • Drum Editor
  • List Editor
  • In-Place Editor

If you refer to the In-Place Editor, the Range Selection is available.

Well, seems that if I have the object + range selection tools selected in the arrangement / project window then behavior in the in-place editor seems not as expected (macOS (Apple Silicon) + Cubase 13), but if either object selection tool or range selection tool in the main toolbar is selected - then the tools seem to behave as expected in the in-place editor.
