Hello Dorico team,
Nice to see the Tempo editor and Pitch Bend back. Thank you for the hard work!
Next logical step in this area would be to see them back on the Timeline in Play Mode, too.
Just the same way as they are implemented in Cubase, plus option to copy and paste Automation settings. Generally the Timeline in Cubase is very well designed for MIDI (CC Automation, Humanization, Edit-in-Place, Copy-Paste Events, Event manipulation).
Very often when we are doing CC automation, we need to compare them, or copy and paste from one to another track, which is not possible, or comfortable in the Key Editor. That’s why we need them on the Timeline.
Having all of them only in the Key Editor maybe comfortable for iPad, but for Desktop surely not.
I hope you would consider to think about things mentioned above in this topic!
Thank you very much in advance!
P.S: Would have been great if the Tempo was able to send data to VST Plugins with this re-implementation. This a very important improvement!
