Re: Midi Track Delay Slider not working For CCs ?

Hey everyone!

I’m using Midi CCs to control lighting as dimmers. Midi is sequenced so lighting controls will be automated as cubase plays. I’ve noticed that there’s a slight sync issue between my music and the lighting, so naturally I head for the track delay slider to compensate - but it doesn’t seem to do anything with regards to CC midi.

So … is there a way to make the track delay slider work for CC midi in the automation track?

You will have to insert the CCs in the controller lane of the midi part for track delay to work.

I know CCs can be extracted to automation, but I don’t think the reverse is possible.

Your best option is probably to use the Project Logical Editor to physically shift the automation points by the desired amount.
