Cubase being the premiere compositional tool, and with users having dozens, if not hundreds of VSTis loaded many of which might have different drummaps… It’s surprising this hasn’t been improved yet.
I have many custom made Groove Agent libraries…
The problem is, they might get added to the templates or projects drum map at different times. Ie, I might update my templates with new default loaded kits and templates.
But then I have Groove Agent drum maps scattered throughout other VSTi drummaps in the drum map list.
It becomes a big mess, where I have to individually export all maps, delete them all, and then re-import them.
It might be beneficial to have a user created sub-folder system as well, so ‘Groove Agent’ can contain all the Groove Agent maps.
There should also be a ‘Update Drum Map’ to replace a currently selected DrumMap, for users that have their own built instruments and have moved sounds around.
