Hi there, I’ve just got a new pc and purchased Cubase Artist 10. I’m keeping my workstation/studio pc offline, and downloaded cubase onto an external hard drive. I installed Cubase from there, should I have put the files in the C drive and install from there? Cubase is only recognising the computer’s internal speakers, but I have some Edirols plugged in (I’ve installed VLC Player and that works fine through the speakers.) Will I have to deinstall/reinstall in the right place, amnd if so will I need to re-register as well? Hope someone out there can help cos Its driving mer mad. I’ve used Cubase SX all this time and have had no probs at all.
No. But you have to install an ASIO compatible driver for your audio device.
