Over the years one thing that constantly frustrates me about Cubase is its apparent inability to correctly recognise the tempo of audio files. It seems to do okay when browsing samples that are a regular 4 or 8 bar loop, but other times it completely loses its way, rendering the media bay facility for auditioning samples at the project tempo useless.
This is the solitary thing I miss about Ableton before I jumped aboard the Cubase ship a dozen or so years back.
