Real Time Algorithm has been deactivated

I am experiencing this issue in Cubase 14 Pro. Whenever I attempt to manipulate audio, I receive the following error message:

“Real Time Algorithm has been deactivated because pitch or stretch factor lies outside the limits of the current preset.”
I have tried multiple solutions:

  • Changing the algorithm from Elastique to Solo and vice versa.
  • Changing the elastique Pro Time to elastique Pro Tape.
  • Restarting the software and working on a fresh project to rule out session corruption. Nothing helps.

That happens when you stretch the audio too far. I’m not certain what exactly it refers to (current preset) but I just back off the stretch a bit. I have zoomed in a bit to get closer to the stretch I’m trying.
