I am having difficulty setting up Dorico to respond to two different midi channels mapped to different players/staves. I have create two players and for real time midi input I would like channel 2 to to go the staff 1 and channel 3 to got to staff 2. I have tried to follow the instructions and assigned the correct ports/midi channels in play mode ( assigned to each track) - however “ALL” channels are recorded on the selected staff instead of being mapped to the assigned correct staff. Any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong or need to take into account ( maybe a setting I am missing somewhere). I am able to do this in finale and in Logic’s score editor without issue - but would really like to be able to achieve this in Dorico as well. Any thoughts would be welcome…
