just wondering.
I can slow down or make a track faster in realtime in Nuendo 5.x and that’s really cool tool for working the right tempo of a song already recorded.
So… can I take an already song audio files and pitch shift them so I could choose de best “tonal” for different singers?
I’m not 100% sure what you mean but you can adjust pitch in realtime too via various algorithms.
Yes you can - with Elastique Pro the quality of tempo shifted audio is quite acceptable for many applications. I still wouldn’t do it if ultimate audio quality is needed, though.
The methods are fully described in the manual, far too much to write down here.
