So I am trying to use reason 12 in rewire with Cubase 11 pro
Mac book Pro 16-inch, 2019 ) 2,4 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 (MacOS Big Sur)
Cubase 11 and Reason 12 work perfectly separately.
and they used to function well together in rewire. but…
Now, when I go to “Studio” “Rewire” “Rewire setup”, Reason has totally disappeared from the box.
I can not even select reason anymore. Reason is just NOT in the “Rewire setup” box anymore !
I have no idea what to do… and I have 600 songs, all in rewire, Cubase / Reason.
I would be immensely grateful if anyone could help me for this serious issue, please.
I think Cubase 10.5 is the last version to have Rewire. Rewire is dead as in not under further development anymore.
Apparently, there are virtual cables for routing midi and audio between apps, maybe that is your solution? I know there are several products for this - like Blue Cat - not that I have tried any of them
