Using Wavelab 13.0.30 on Win 11 25 H2 Build 26200.7840
I have the problem that the settings I apply in the master section are not loaded.
When I startup Wavelab it always comes back with a setting that I have modified already several times.
Even if I delete all the Presets in PrograData/Steinberg/Wavelab Pro 13/Master Section I still get this old master section setting. No Idea where it finds this setting.
So my question is, how can I set a certain master section preference that will correctly loaded when I startup Wavelab?
The settings restored are the ones present when you last quit WaveLab. If you have a project, the restored configuration is local to the project. Otherwise, it is global.
If you speak about the plugin in the playback section of the master section, this is another story because the plugins are restored in a different way, and I recommend you look at the manual for this.

You are right. It is the setting in the playback-Section of the master section.
I had a look in the manual and it mentioned on page 717
Presets pop-up menu
Allows you to you save and recall preset settings. The Presets pop-up menu offers
additional options to save and load default banks and effects
But I cannot find this menu.
In my picture, click the box labeled “Untitled”.
Please let me give you the steps I do.
The setting for the Mastersection is exactly the same as you showed.
When I make changes in the effects area, in the final Effects / Dithering area those are saved and recalled correctly.
The Settings in the Playback Processing area are not reloaded correctly and I haven’t found a menu to save these setting for it own.
Only in the Save Master Section Preset Dialog I found the “Save Playback Processing Plug-in” and this is selected.
