I produce dnb, specifically neurofunk, and so naturally i like my final product to be LOUD!! when i am bouncing my individual tracks down to audio - before the final mixdown - how loud should i bounce each track to ensure that once the tune has been mixed and mastered, its as loud as possible (as loud as noisia for example)?
should i be turning up the output fader of each track so that it peaks just shy of 0db before i bounce? and then mix it all down at lower levels? to be clear, im bouncing individual tracks to audio, to then mixdown, to then send for mastering. its the bounce volume of the tracks BEFORE mixdown i want to know, not the bounce volume OF the mixdown which will be sent to master.
can anyone with experience in perceived loudness work help?
