Record button keeps going back to start of song

Hello, I have key commands for cycle markers etc. and I want to be able to press the key command to go to the beginning of the cycle marker, and then press my key command for record. The issue is when I press record, it starts recording from the beginning of the song, not where my cursor is located (beginning of cycle marker). How can I change this?

Double check this preference, please:

  • Transport > Return to Start Position on Stop
