I am running Cubase LE 4 and I want to know if I can record on a track while listening to something that I have previously recorded through my speakers. I want to record some dj scratches on a track and then record some more on a different track, however I need to hear the placement of the first set of scratches while I am recording the second and third sets. Can this be done?
Yes.
Have you tried : File - import - then select your sound file. It opens as a track in your project.
Now add another track and do recording on that track.
