Record file format on MAC Project Setup

Hi,

Mac OS Ventura - Cubase 13 Pro

What’s the correct default project setup for tunes that will be digitally released on streaming platforms and later put onto physical Cds?

Mine is currently set this way:

32 bit float

44.1, kHz

Wave

Wondering if the record file type Wave is ok (as a Mac user I’d assume it should be set to AiFF? Or maybe Broadcast Wave File?)

Also, should I be recording in 44,1 as later downsampling of 48 could - for instance - cause unwanted noise?

Thanks, you experts

I would keep the samplerate the same as the delivery format from the start.
BWAV is standard nowadays, also on Mac. Keep everything at 32-bit float until the very last step, then dither to the right bit depth for the master.

My 2c.

Thanks
