Record MIDI from Drum Machine + GA Pads to track

I would like to be able to record MIDI from the Drum Pads from both Drum Machine and Groove Agent to a MIDI track. I often get good inspiration from clicking from a mouse and currently, I see no way to capture that.

Drum Machine also needs Velocity sensitive pads just like Groove Agent has. You can easily create nice swells with only the mouse especially if you don’t have a MIDI controller nearby.

Same thing with Halion, for consistency.

Hi,

You can drag and drop the MIDI data from the pads to the track.

Btw, no instrument sends data back to the track. This routing is just not available.

I know it’s not available, that is why I wrote this feature request.

It’s available for several other aspects like Key Roll and Chord Pads, even Pattern Track for a time before it was correctly removed. So it should be possible.

Hi,

In that case, I would recommend to make the feature-request more generic. Like, you want to route MIDI data from an Instrument to the track’s input.

I expect, this feature-request exists already. Then I would recommend you to support it.
