I’ve set up a simple shaper to Ramp up and down in an arc CC 11 I was just wondering if there’s a way for that to be recorded back to a track ?

Hi Martin, so I’m trying to freeze a modulator , I did try the freeze middy doesn’t seem to do anything with the modulators. I’m not even sure it’s possible because the modulator would need to print in real time I guess or bounce anyway

Sorry, I didn’t understand your original post. I was thinking, you have a MIDI CC1 with the Ramp option enabled in the MIDI Part, and you want to change (freeze) it to the Step mode.
I am also looking for a way to do this. I can see the value changing in the automation lane, like it’s teasing me. It makes sense why enabling write doesn’t work, you’d immediately be doubling up, but the ability to freeze all modulators for a given parameter to an automation lane and disable those connections would be lovely. Side note, it’s a little silly to need to pin the modulators panel to prevent it from going blank when selecting an automation lane for a track with modulators…
You’ll have to turn this into a feature-request, I’m afraid.
