Recorded event stays selected (BUG)

  1. Select range selection tool (2)
  2. Arm a track and press record to start recording
  3. Press stop

Result is that the recorded audio is selected but it is IMPOSSIBLE to unselect it with the range selection tool (you can’t click in empty space). You must use a shortcut or the Object selection tool (1).

Normal behaviour for deselect is:

  1. select an event with range selection tool by double clicking on it

  2. click in empty space to remove selection

Very annoying bugs, finding a lot in Cubase 14.

That already happens in C12, if that helps you in some way.

My god that’s very concerning!
I’ve been a professional using cubase for over 15 years, just didn’t have time to “stop” and take the time to look at the bugs, but my god are they pilling up haha.
