recording a LPF swell on existing track?

I have a single track in Cubase that is a Jupiter 8 synth lead. I’ve added an Arturia Mini Filter V to the track and want to slowly swell the Low Pass Filter knob AND record that data. How do I do this? Seems straightforward but I can’t find any answers. Thanks!

Hi,

Enable Write Automation [W]. Start Playback and make the move on the GUI of the plug-in. Disable Write Automation, and keep Read Automation enabled [green R]. Play it back.
