Recording acoustics with DI and mic simultaneously

Hi folks,

I’m new and not very technical so need help!
I’m trying to record acoustic guitar with an audient id4 interface into Cubase 9 artist.
I want to record with di and mic simultaneously and then create the best mix of both. However, I can’t seem to separate them on Cubase. A bit of both goes onto both tracks on which I’ve clicked the monitor button (with the little mic on it). I’d like track one to record the mic and track two the di.
How do I do this?

Use 2 mono tracks, make sure with F4 Inputs that you have the 2 Audient inputs in the project, use one input on for DI and the other for mic.

Simples!
