Please Forgive me, I have a novice question and it won’t be the last since I am getting back into recording after a couple years out of the loop…
I just uploaded Cubase 8, connected a Focusrite Scarlett 18I8 soundcard and have slaved my MPC 2000xl. When I hit record, the sequences play in the MPC, I hear the track playing in my headphones via Scarlett and see see signal in cubase, but the audio/waves aren’t recording.
What’s not active in my project that’s preventing me from recording audio? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
