Recording audio from Reaper in Cubase

Hello, I’m new at this forum and ,well at cubase, I’ve just bought the Cubase 7 Artist and well, coming from Logic, first impressions are good…but:
In Logic, I could create an auxiliary chanel with input=reaper rewire in slave mode, so that I could record the audio from reaper directly to my audio tracks in Logic.

Is it possible to do the same in Cubase?, I get the sound from reaper, but without recording option.

Hi mata73 - and welcome…! :wink:

I’m sorry, but I think what you’ve hit may be a limitation of Cubase Artist (the ability to use group outputs - your ReWire Return channels - as input sources on Tracks). Please look up the product comparison tables (via Knowledgebase, in the MySteinberg site) for clarity.

Thanks a lot for your answer, yes, I upgraded to Cubase 7 and, wow, I saw the differences!!!

How did you get it to do it? i’m attempting to record audio from reason through rewire to individual audio tracks an no luck… any help would be appreciated… Thanks.
