Recording audio with a MIDI guide track.

I have recorded a MIDI guide track for a choral piece in five parts but find that the subsequent audio tracks have recorded the guide track and click as well.
I’m using the latest version of Pro 10.5 with a Xenyx mixer using ASIO4ALL and a Roland external MIDI sound module SC8850.
I’m sure the answer is simple but I can’t get it! Must be this virus going about!
Anyone any ideas?

I don’t know the mixer but if it only has a single stereo bus back to the software then it sounds like you have everything routed to it. Therefore you will record everything.
