I agree. Just make sure there’s midi data streaming. Hook the thing up via midi, set up your track, push Record and start it all up.
Wouldn’t there need to be some sort of interface to “convert” the possible 512 dmx channels down to the one midi channel I’d use to record it on. Rather like recording a drum track of say 12 tracks down to a single midi track on a single midi channel ( usually ch 10 ) but in this senario there could be up to 512 channels.
Ah… I thought you meant from some sort of midi enabled controller!!!
