Can’t find simple help with: Error Recording: too many tracks recording. Just when I was creating my masterpiece. Cried all night. Looked in Stb topics. No usefull answer available. Do I have to throw away my laptop, or delete Cubase completely?
Does understandable help exist? Where can I find it. This is your chance to a future seat in heaven.
Hi @Lupa1950 , maybe some more detail about your configuration could be helpful to understand… Mac/Win, Os version, CPU, RAM, buffersize settings when recording and so on…
One of my cubase versions is 9.5 although I’ve never heard about this issue…..however….
a google search using simply “Error Recording: too many tracks recording cubase”…..beings up a WHOLE LOT of potential causes/fixes that I myself briefly thought of when I read the post.
So yeah….an explanation of the actual hardware from the op….and….confirmation that he has gone through all 12 or whatever google suggestions….would be useful to know.
Ok. Tried everything. Latency, administrator, etc etc. Nothing worked. Then….
I closed down everything. Disconnected everything. Then held the laptop /off key 20 sec. Restarted laptop. Took time. Connected Cubase again. Took time again. Went to project. Pressed play: held my breath….hurray…sound again. Then started recording. Held my breath again. Heard the metronome…. Hurray.
Everything solved. Project: recording Take Five, everuthing on guitar. Happy, Fun. Hope all of you
Fixed here too it would appear. Was past ready giving up, then I reinstalled the graphics driver, and loaded Cubase one last time. Hey presto, metronome is back, and recorded myself clapping. Played back….happy again!
