My church has a Focusrite 4 channel unit. Recording from the mixer to Focusrite to USB to Cubase. We record just two channels for the service. During recording it stops recording and says
“Recording error: Too many tracks recording”.
Any idea why it would say this? I have gone to the setup connections in Cubase for audio and just have inputs 1, 2, 3,and 4 activated.
When the service is recording I have stereo channel 1 recording the service, and stereo track 2 (which is used for the 2nd service0. Once the 1st service has recorded, I save the file. I then mute channel 1 and record channel 2 when recording the 2nd service. This is when I get the error message.
