recording guitar with insert effects

I have recorded my electric guitar without any effects.
Afterwards I added insert effects.

Then I wanted to record with these effects.
But when I monitor my guitar I only hear a clean sound.
Why don’t I hear the insert effects?

Without telling us what physical I/O busses you have available and how you are currently routing to them it’s gonna be hard to offer any advice.

Turn off direct monitoring
