Recording: Monitoring w/ effects but not printing them

Hello,
I just went blank and could use your help. I have been recording vocals dry for quite some time now and I completely forgot how to do this.

I have a vocalist that wants to hear a slight reverb and delay while they record, but I need to keep the recording dry. I used to do this in Cubase SX, but totally forgot the process. Also, I am now using Cubase 5. Could someone please inform me of how to achieve this please? Thanks in advance.

Create a Send FX channel.

Or create a group channel with all the effects you need in it. The audio is being printed on your primary recording channel so anything you route it to after the fact will do the trick. I usually do that anyway rather than print any effect so effects can be readjusted later if needed.
