I’m using Cubase 12 Pro
I have a Native Instruments KA 6 audio interface into which I’m plugging my guitar.
I want to record the mono left input to both left and right of a stereo track.
Audio connections will not let enter left for both stereo inputs.
Is there a way to do this ?
Since there’s no difference between recording the exact same thing to L+R and recording mono to the Center, I’d do (and I really do) exactly that. Just select the Input, from the Connect to Hardware dropdown, and record your guitar on a Stereo Track. If you get an event with the waveform centered within, it’s alright. If you get an event with one waveform and one flat line, it means that you have recorded just one side of a supposed stereo input, which is no good. Just recheck your input and try to record again in that case.
