Recording mono, only playback on one speaker.

I am trying to record from a mono synth into cubase. When I am recording it is playing through both speakers, but when I play it back, the sound only comes through one. I know people have had this issue before but I can’t figure out what I need to change.

1. Create a MONO track
2. Go to VST Connection window and make a MONO BUSS
3. Go to your track and select that buss for your input
4. Record your MONO track
5. Go back to your VST Connections window and make sure your MAIN OUTPUT BUSS is STEREO
6. You can now pan your mono track L/R/C or anywhere else you want it to be in the stereo field
