Recording on cubase with external synth

Hello,
Im just starting out and im trying to figure out how i can get songs ive made from my yamaha mox6 onto cubase. Im new at this and havent been able to figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike

There’s also other ways of doing things besides transferring a midi file.

If you send midi clock to where you synth is then set the synth timing to external then you can just record the stereo input. That assumes you have an audio interface to plug the keyboard into, and of course a midi connection.

That would work with any synth.
