why is it still not possible to record pianomusic into bass & trbl staff ?
Multible staff recording works fine…
HJB, can you clarify what you mean? I record into a piano grand staff…
When I input music into both selected bars/staves ,it only notes my two hand playing into the upper stave ,ignoring the keysplit.
when recording into several single staves like french horns ,the each voice gets exploded on to each individual stave.
So I cant record my two hand playing in one go into the piano system …

Try selecting just a note or rest in the right-hand piano staff, then start recording. You should find that Dorico inputs into both staves.
Doesn’t work perfectly…
When I’ve recorded something into the bass staff and then go back and want to record something into the treble staff, Dorico overwrites what I’ve recorded in the bass staff the second time around.
Now using Dorico 5.1
I figured it out. You must double-click the staff you want to record into, then hit record.
