Recording System Exclusive Dumps

Hi Folks,

I’m not often on here, but I’m stumped on a small problem.

I need to change the CR2032 battery on an old Korg SG Pro X and I want to store the memory while I change the battery (Soldered to the motherboard). In the past I remember doing a data dump from a Roland sound module to a Cubase track, and resending with no problems.
This time the midi is recording & playing back, but the data dump isn’t showing up in Cubase. I’ve tried the various midi modes to no effect. The last time I did anything like this is several Cubase versions ago. I’m on the latest and was wondering if anything had changed. Any ideas anyone?

What are your prefences? Sys.ex. filtered out?

Hi Buer. Thanks for quick response. While you were replying I found it.
Yep Sys Ex was disabled. Put it down to my age 72! lol.

All working as expected.
