Hi
I am Using Cubase 12 pro to recording vocals.

Down at the midi Out Activatie I see a lot of Latency when I have my Presonus Faderport V2 connect and record at the same time.

If I disconnect the Faderport v2 the Midi Activatie is gone.
Than I can record my session without problems.
Is there someone who has expiries with this strange Issue.

Hi,

What do you mean, please? You cannot see latency in the MIDI Out Activity. In the MIDI Out Activity, you can see the MIDI Messages sending out from Cubase.

Hi Martin,

I relative new to DaW software/recording. I mean the midi activity. If someone sings into the microphone with the faderport controller connect it gives a lot of activity. I am not sure if this is ok. So I de-connect the midi controller to prevent trouble.

Hi,

The DAW controller is probable sending lots of MIDI messages. If it’s using HUI protocol, this requires “still connected and alive” kind of messages. Therefore it’s sending continues messages.
