Recording VST via USB stage piano too quiet

Hello, I wonder if there is a solution how to make recording VST instruments via USB connection directly to PC louder. I use stage piano Roland which is normaly recognized by Cubase. After playing recorded tracks the volume is too low, I can adjust the volume afterwards but still it shoul be on normal sound level in 0 channel volume, or am I wrong? I am quiet new to Cubase and cannot figure this out, my version is 13. Thank you for any advise!

What velocity are the notes you are generating? It could be you need to adjust the velocity curve of your keyboard

Hello Michal,

I guess that stage piano has no Modulation wheel or Expression controller.
So I would have a look at the VST instrument (Edit Instrument) and look for a way to adjust the Modulation and Expression. It happened to me and I did find out that these CC values were set to a minimum and hence not producing much volume.

Thank you, yes you are right. I found an option to increase output in the VST instrument edit mode (Graphic EQ) and now works great:)
