Recording Vsti outputs as audio tracks?

Hello , is it somehow possible to record as audio in realtime vsti OUTPUT ? aka to route output into input of dedicated audio track ? since for example its much faster sometimes to work with live performance/arranger of the track in real time with maschine or MPC ? this feature is called as resample in Ableton live and its pain and torture honestly to bounce/export all those tracks back and forth with cubase ableton , honestly want to stay in cubase enviroment as much as possible .

Thanks for reading

Yes, you just create a new audio connection and output the instrument to that, and then set that output as the input on a seperate audio track which you record to.

I mentioned it in another thread recently in fact:

i have 16 outputs from Maschine and i can capture without any problems in ableton live … this will not work … i belive it can be coded without any problems in some upcoming update/version …

it’s not working in elements …

You have to enable the outputs in Cubase first. You go to the browser area on the right side of Cubase. You select vsti and you’ll see the vsts you already dragged in that look like racks. You hit a upward triangle and in that menu you’ll see outputs. From there you just enable 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 and so on.

You might be able to just click something in the wrapper portion of the plugin or right-click to get to the outputs as well. Kind of still fresh to me.

This is what I’m referring to

You can also find it in vst instruments.

You also have render in place assuming everything is routed, synced, and selected.
