Hi, I’ve just recently moved from recording with a basic 8-track to a small desktop studio set up and even though I’m picking up the basics of Cubase with relative ease I’ve hit the wall when it comes to recording with the drum plug-ins I want to use.
Basically with the d-16 Drumazon I’ve programmed and recorded the drum loop I want, however as soon as I hit the record button the track becomes an instant, infinite track of the drum loop which doesn’t appear to have anything recorded on it (although it has) and is uneditable. Is it possible to record this instrument so it records a track in the same way as an instrument played through my audio interface or would I have to use an external midi device with plug-in to achieve this?
