I also made sure that that .vstsound file exists in the reference location, and it does.
It is odd that that “Ambient Lounge” file that’s giving me trouble is the only one of the factory preset packs that’s not in the “Content” subdirectory like the others, but since Media Bay can “see” the contents of the .vstsound file, it seems like it can access it, so that shouldn’t be an issue - or is it?
Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this?
Is it a recent issue or do you have just installed it ? I ask this, because the “red circles” often appear when there is a licence issue, and the “Ambient lounge” library isn’t listed in the SDA Cubase 13 Pro category. From which, an added licence is needed to use it.
FWIW, i have an added Steinberg library not listed in the SDA Cubase 13 Pro category, the Amped Elektra. It appears this way in SAM (Steinberg Activation Manager) :
I don’t know how Ambient Lounge ended up installed (since I never bought it), but now that I know all this, I’ll just get rid of it from my system. No need for it to eat up disk space.
According to the Download Assistant and the product information Ambient Lounge is a separate product, not included in Cubase. So it probably needs its own license to be intact. Check the eLicenser (for old versions) or the Activation Manager (for new versions) if the license shows up there.
