Reduce Automation Events

Supposedly, according to the manual “Punching out or using the Reduce Automation Events function removes all superfluous automation events.”

I have searched and can find no function to reduce events AFTER they have been recorded. The only reference to event reduction is in the Automation Panel Settings, which does it in real time (hence the punch out reference)

Any idea how to reduce events with this mysterious function?

Hi,

Could you send the link, where did you find this information in the manual, please?

As far as I know, there is no way, how to reduce the amount of automation nodes after they have been recorded.

Hi,

Yes, this is the Automation Panel description, where you can set it up before the data has been written.

Thanks Martin. Disappointing. It would be much more useful to be able to manage this data after it has been recorded. Oh well, one for the Feature Request forum

cheers
