(I’m a cubase 12 user) When I use an insert to apply compression to a track I have full and clear panning available from left to right. But when I apply the same compression using a fxchannel/send, the more I increase the pull of the send on the compressor, so to speak, the less distinct (for lack of a better word) my panning from left to right becomes. Anyone know why?
Do you have the panning of your sends linked to the panning of the tracks? If not, try that.
